Hello my beauties! How are you this evening? I’m doing all right. Anyway, I’ve decided to do a Favorites post since there’s a handful of bloggers already doing their own Faves posts. Of course, mine is going to be on nail color so get ready for a picspam.

Shim-merry Chic

Shim-merry Chic is the most favorite color I have out of the Beige, Bronze, Brown, and Taupe family. I actually would like to get a full sized bottle of this one after seeing all of its bronzy goodness plus its flakies.

Onyx Rush

Hands down my favorite black. This might be only a creme, but I love it for its fast-dry delivery, its three-coat opacity, and most importantly, its high-shine finish. Onyx Rush also excels for layering.

Brand New Skates

You can tell why Brand New Skates is hands down my favorite gray. It’s not your ordinary gray–it’s chock full of little gold thread glitters. Just love.

Millennium

And now we have my favorite silver. China Glaze Millennium, and that’s because it looks so perfectly mirror-metallicy on my nails. Like I said, if you were born in Cancer, I think this color is THE must-have for you.

2NITE

I absolutely love this one! Not only is 2NITE a nice periwinkle blue, it actually brings out the warmth of my skin. And let’s not forget that it’s a prismatic rainbow shimmer finish. So pretty.

Glad To Be Green

I thought about it for quite some time what my fave green was, and I decided on this unique (to me) olive-Army green from Maybelline. Not only is the color unique for me, the dry time also excels.

Dirty, Sexy, Money

Again, I had to give this one a bit of a think since there are a lot of teals that I really like/love. But I have to give this one to Misa Dirty, Sexy, Money because it’s like no other teal I’ve ever seen. It’s got a great formula, but I think dry time could be better.

Smitten With Mittens

My fave burwine of the bunch. I love all the burwines that I got, but OPI Smitten With Mittens gives me that extra ‘oomph’ that I’m looking for in an otherwise safe color. I just love its sparkles.

Sacred Heart

It was actually quite an excruciating decision between Sally Hansen’s Salon Cyclamen with its pinky/cherry red creme and China Glaze Sacred Heart that’s a red neon but dries looking kinda squishy. I chose Sacred Heart because lately I’ve really been getting into those colors with a jelly finish. But still, both of these are two of my fave reds of all since I love juicy reds over classic ones.

I'm His Coral-Friend

OPI I’m His Coral-Friend is my fave coral of the group. I think it is simply because of its juicy, squishy, jelly finish. I’d wear it more often if it required less coats to be fully opaque, but it requires a minimum of four for that state.

Yellow Brick Road

I really don’t like yellow that much, so it was kinda tough for me to make a decision as to which yellow I liked the most. I was stuck between CND Color Bicycle Yellow and Claire’s Cosmetics Yellow Brick Road as my two favorites for two different reasons: Bicycle Yellow applies better, but Yellow Brick Road looks better against my skin. So I went with Yellow Brick Road because I love the buttery yellow look against my skin, application be damned.

IDK

It was also tough choosing between China Glaze IDK and China Glaze Sci-Fi. But in the end, IDK won out because you can tell I love my prismatic rainbow shimmer finishes.

Wild Orchid

Wet ‘n Wild Wild Shine has made this beautiful purple loaded with prismatic glitter a fave of mine. In fact, my absolute fave purple polish. This one goes on nicely in two coats, with perfect coverage in three. All for just $1. And that’s another huge reason this is my abfave purple.

Forget Now

Wow! I can not believe I haven’t tried this on until today! Seriously, I think Sinful’s Forget Now is a bluer, cooler version of China Glaze’s Strawberry Fields. This took three coats, but could have used another one. Still, I’m seriously in love with this one.

I’m not going to take more swatches for a little while. What I want to do is actually wear nail colors for a few days or so to give them a bit of a break–I never can leave my nails bare, unfortunately. I suppose when they’re a little less stained, I can show them off bare.
