OPI Fall/Winter 2009 Espana Collection
Hello, my beauties! I promised another post, and here it is. This time I’ve got a post of three colors from OPI’s Fall/Winter 2009 Espana collection. These three are the best three for me. Check out the swatches below!
I never thought I’d ever be lemming for a brown, since you know how I feel about browns, but this was the most appropriate lemming. Can You Tapas This? almost looks like a milk-chocolate raisin brown, and I really think it is. I think OPI did a great job with this creme.
Pamplona Purple is my absolute fave of this collection. It’s almost a grape, but it’s a beautiful purple creme. Very chic.
Whoops! This one I took when the sun was starting to wane. Suzi Skis In The Pyrenees is a deep charcoal creme. I could’ve sworn it had a bit of blue tint in the base, but I could be wrong.
Application, once again, was great. Coverage was also nice — three coats got the job done on all of them.
So, what do you ladies think? Do you like the three that I have, or think they’re just meh? Please let me know. With that, SilverDiva signing off for now. Love, light, and peace to all of you during the New Year.

Liking the Tapas. Sort-of like Pyrenees but I just know it ends up looking black in real life. I have made that mistake before and got something on the basis of a blog but found the polish to be close to black in ordinary conditions. Nothing against black as a base for other stuff but not as a mani by itself.
Hi, Jen!
When I saw the Tapas on Vampy Varnish, I just knew I had to have it. Along with Here Today… Aragon Tomorrow. I couldn’t believe I was lemming a brown, but damn! I made the right choice with this one. I’d decided on a whim to pick up Suzi Skis as well, after reading about it on a blog. That blog made it sound better than it was, so when I swatched Suzi Skis, I was majorly disappointed. I thought it was going to be a charcoal with a bit of visual interest, but I ended up seeing a charcoal that looks almost like a black creme on my nails.
I like them! The only one I don’t have of these three is the Pamplona Purple, and I tried to get that – haha – but there was another purple in the stand that was in the wrong display. I didn’t look at the label, so I bought the wrong one! Crazy. Anyway, I keep intending to pick this up, as the swatches are very appealing! I really liked this collection.

Hi, Nicole!
Thanks! I love them too. I’d been lemming for Here Today… Aragon Tomorrow as well as tapas on Vampy Varnish’s blog, but on a whim I decided to get Pamplona Purple since I didn’t have a purple in my stash like it. I’m so glad I got Pamplona Purple instead of Here Today… Aragon Tomorrow since the latter looks very similar to a green I’ve already got in my collection. Don’t you just hate it when something is put in the wrong place?
I love Pampalona Purple. I’ve been waffling about buying that one for a long time, but I don’t have any other purples like it. it is really pretty.

Hi, Brooke!
Thank you! Oh, you definitely should get it if you don’t have it already, it really is one of the most chic purples I’ve ever used. You’ll definitely love it.
