Picspam: Trying To Wrap Up

Written by silverdiva

Hello my lovelies! I’ve got another picspam for you like I promised yesterday. I’ve been trying to wrap up some certain color groups for a while now, and I think I finally made it. There are still others that I have yet to finish up. Anyway, check out this latest picspam.

(A note: All swatches were taken in direct sunlight, in subzero degree temperatures outside. Yes, I had to go in and out just to swatch nail colors in the sun.)

Unplugged

Unplugged

As you can tell, I don’t have a whole lot of browns. So it was easy to wrap up the Brown set. Unplugged is my favorite brown of all time because of the shimmer in its brown base.

Coco Diamond

Coco Diamond

I think Coco Diamond is a great bronze for women with cooler skin tones. It has a lot of silver sparkle inside a pinked bronze base. The Bronzes were another relatively easy group for me to wrap up.

Brand New Skates

Brand New Skates

I’ve got a few good grays, so it won’t be very easy to wrap this one up. Brand New Skates is my gray for the day, and I love this one because of the gold microglitters inside the charcoal gray base.

Celeb City

Celeb City

I love Celeb City! It’s a really beautiful silver foil with silver shimmer. This was the color I wore last night and was able to swatch first.

Social Ladder

Social Ladder

Social Ladder was the color I wore going out today. It’s definitely an interesting white — and one that I may wear again for a neutral color.

Time-Less Is More

Time-Less Is More

I decided to get this one out of the way. This is Time-Less Is More. It’s a sheer white jelly that I really hate. First of all, this type of white isn’t my style, and secondly, it streaked. But at least it didn’t drag.

Sea? I Told You!

Sea? I Told You!

Sea? I Told You! is my favorite out of the SUNbelieveable collection. I had to reconsider its positioning in the Teal group after comparing it with other teals. It fit better in the Blue group.

Mint Dream

Mint Dream

Mint Dream is a very sheer green that is perfect for layering over other colors to kind of create the duochrome-y effect. However, it fails when worn by itself.

Gorgeous

Gorgeous

What can I say about Gorgeous? Well, I can say that it seems to be a straight-up teal shimmer instead of a teal/blue duochrome. I like this color, but I’m not in love with it.

The only colors I’ve finished with in this post are the beiges and the browns. Now all I have to do is hunt for more browns, beiges, bronzes, and taupes. Everything else in this post still belongs to families that need more work yet.

So, what do you think about these colors? Are these colors that you would wear? I’d love to hear about it. With that, SilverDiva signing off for the time being. Love, light, and peace to all of you!
