Nail of the ...

... Day? Week? However long my nail polish will last for a given period of time before it starts to chip or I feel like wiping it off? Hello dear readers, I'm back once again. You know my  last post ? Well, today I have a full manicure, as it were, to show you. Here it is: Holo Taco One Coat Black with Blue Flakie Holo Taco over Solar Unicorn Skin And the thumb shot if you want it: I love the look of Blue Flakie Holo Taco over Solar Unicorn Skin. I was going for a simultaneously fire and ice look and this didn't disappoint me at all. Well, that's it for today, dear reader. Until the next time, hugs and kisses. Update, July 28, 2020: This manicure I posted about on Friday. Well, it lasted three full days from Friday through Monday until I took a shower Monday evening. While in the shower, the polish on thr

A Tale of Three

Hello dear readers it's me again! This time I have a trio of polishes I want to show you. Here they are, Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow. (All of these are two quick and dirty coats) Version 1 This was the one I needed flash for. It's a frosty limon.  Version 2 This one looks to me like a pastel yellow. Okay, not particularly pastel since pastel implies softness and gray. No, this looks more like a slightly whiter based yellow to me. Version 3 The one I'm wearing right now. This is the egg-yolk yellow color I've been looking for since for some reason, someone (not sure who) said that egg-yolk yellow looks great on Deep Autumn people. Whoever said that isn't wrong because I like the way this color looks live on my nails. I always like to compare three different nail polishes, all with the same name but in different tones of the same color. This week was Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow. I might update this post, including thi

China Glaze Pleather Weather A light gray matte. This was the sole picture taken on July 8. From the Fall 2018 Ready to Wear collection. OPI Push and Shove A bright silver chrome. This came from Gwen Stefani's January 2014 collection. China Glaze Recycle A medium neutral gray creme. This came from the Spring 2008 E-Collection. China Glaze OMG A silver with holographic shimmer (or, as many call it, a linear holographic). The original came out in Spring (or perhaps summer) of 2008. This is from the Flashback collection in 2018. OPI Tell Me About It Stud A classic true red creme. This picture makes the polish look pinker than it is in real life. From the Summer 2018 Grease (40th Anniversary) collection. Color Club Black Magic A deep charcoal with chunky holographic shimmer. I bought this off the shelf at Walmart back in M
