OPI Fall 2020 Muse of Milan Collection

Hello friends and welcome back to my blog! It's been a while since the last time I posted, but I promise this post will be well worth it.

Here we are. OPI's Fall 2020 collection, Muse of Milan. I purchased the entire 12-piece nail polish set at Polish Pick. Most of these were completely opaque in two coats, except for three in which I'll name throughout this post.

Without further ado, here they are. Twelve Milan-inspired beauties.

Addio Bad Nails, Ciao Great Nails
A grayed-out light purple with some shimmer. This took two coats for opacity.

Complimentary Wine
A beautiful wine creme. This was the only creme in this collection that took three coats for opacity.

Drama at La Scala
A medium teal creme. This one took two coats for opacity.

Duomo Days, Isola Nights
A beautiful medium to deep blue creme. This one took two coats for opacity.

Fall-ing For Milan
A light neutral brown with bronze shimmer. This took two coats for opacity.

Galleria Vittorio Violet
A cool, light violet with a pinkish shimmer. This took two coats for opacity.

Have Your Pannetone and Eat It Too
A warm, vivid orange creme. This took two coats for opacity.

Leonardo's Model Color
A multi-purple metallic with a slight blue duochrome. This took between two and three coats for opacity.

My Italian Is A Little Rusty
A burnt orange creme. This took two coats for opacity.

OPI Nails The Runway
A silvery-gray glitter-like formula. This took three coats built up for opacity (shown on middle and pinky fingers) and one coat over Suzi Talks With Her Hands (shown on pointer and ring fingers).

Suzi Talks With Her Hands
A beautiful gray creme with a slight green undertone. This took two coats for opacity.

This Color Hits All The High Notes
A gray-white frost with a blue shimmer. This took three coats for opacity.

Well, here was the entire OPI Fall 2020 Muse of Milan collection. I really liked this collection a lot. Two-thirds of this collection (eight polishes, including, surprisingly enough, Galleria Vittorio Violet) took two coats for opacity, while the remaining third (four polishes, including Complimentary Wine) took three coats for opacity.

Now, while I really liked this collection, I do have favorites and one least favorite that, were I to pick and choose, I would never have bought as a polish on its own. I was actually surprised at how much I liked Galleria Vittorio Violet on me, and I can see myself going for this color during the spring and summer months too. Of course, I was also going to name Drama at La Scala and Duomo Days, Isola Nights as two of my favorites because those are just two of the colors I naturally gravitate toward at all times. Addio Bad Nails, Ciao Great Nails was another surprise color that I really liked on me. And, of course, I had to go for My Italian is a Little Rusty because that is a beautiful burnt orange.

However, there is one least favorite in this collection. That one is This Color Hits All the High Notes. It's a frost, it's a grayish white, and cooler whites never look very good on me.

So, until the next time I see you, ❤ and 💋 to all.
