China Glaze Holiday 2020 Jollywood Collection

Hello again one and all and today I have a new post for you. This is from China Glaze and it's the Holiday 2020 Jollywood collection. There are 12 polishes in the collection, but I have 11 to show you today. I ordered these babies from Polish Pick and ordered all 12 of the polishes, but I only received 11 of the polishes. The only one I didn't receive was the green jelly with holographic bar glitters that, once on the nail, looked like a Christmas tree. Pine needles and all. So without further ado, here are the swatches of the 11 that I do have. Most of them are fully opaque in two coats, except for one in which I'll share later. Deck The Malls A deep navy blue with blue and silver sparkles. It looks kind of dark gray because I couldn't get the photo quite right. Famous Fir Sure A light green frost. This would look more like a chrome except that you can really see the brush strokes where I couldn't quite get them straight within the two coats I did for this polish

Holo Taco Polish Haul Spam

Hello everyone, I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while. I needed somewhat of a break in between maintenance of this blog. Anyway, I have a five polish spam post of a nail polish haul I ordered back on October 1 and received via FedEx on October 7. Here they are, the five new beauties I bought from the Holo Taco website.   Play Rosé A coral toned base with tons of holographic glitter Lemon Sucker A French's mustard toned yellow with holographic shimmer Linear Holo Taco Holographic shimmer in a clear base. Shown in two coats over One Coat Black (pinky and middle fingers) and Indigo Away (ring and index fingers) Indigo Away A deep indigo creme. This color is everything for me. Purple with Envy A bright purple multichrome with a strong blue shift. So, here are the five. I thought my absolute favorite would be Purple with Envy, but I was wrong. Indigo Away turned out to be my favorite. However, I have to call Lemon Sucker as a very close second favorite. It was the first yellow

Misa Polish Spam

Hello one and all and welcome back! I know, it's been a month since my last post; I was still so busy swatching and wearing nail polishes. All that crap. I ordered ten bottles of Misa nail polish at TransDesign on 1 September, 2020 and received them on 4 September, 2020. The same day, I swatched all of these. So here are the pictures of this polish spam. Hope you like 'em Blame It On Fat Tuesday A bright, practically primary green with what looks like a jelly bean finish. Two coats. Chocolate Icing A mahogany red-brown with tonal shimmer. Two coats. Dance Party A silver glitter. This is built up in three coats, and I should have done one coat of this over a polish such as, say, Essie No Place Like Chrome. Disco Queen A yellow-based gold glitter. This is built up in three coats, and I should have done one coat of this over a polish such as Essie Good As Gold Girls' Night Out A bright medium pink neon creme with a jelly bean like finish. Two coats. This is quite similar to

Updates To This Blog

Hello my friends! Wanna know where I've been and why I haven't blogged for the past two weeks? Well, here's why. I've been updating the polish repository. Swatching, taking pictures, then uploading to the gallery widget. All to bring you a bigger gallery of my polish photos. I've finished with the corals, the oranges, the peaches, the greens, and the yellows and golds. And just today I've finished with the silvers and, FINALLY, the reds. So that's what I've been doing for the past two weeks.

Nail of the ...

... Day? Week? However long my nail polish will last for a given period of time before it starts to chip or I feel like wiping it off? Hello dear readers, I'm back once again. You know my  last post ? Well, today I have a full manicure, as it were, to show you. Here it is: Holo Taco One Coat Black with Blue Flakie Holo Taco over Solar Unicorn Skin And the thumb shot if you want it: I love the look of Blue Flakie Holo Taco over Solar Unicorn Skin. I was going for a simultaneously fire and ice look and this didn't disappoint me at all. Seeing the picture of the polish on my nails versus seeing the polish live on my nails really doesn't do this one justice: you've got to see it live and in person! Well, that's it for today, dear reader. Until the next time, hugs and kisses. Update, July 28, 2020: This manicure I posted about on Friday. Well, it lasted three full days from Friday through Monday until I took a shower Monday evening. While in the shower, the polish on thr
